The Kids are Alright

周六早上最好的事情之一,就是以"随便看看"的心态却发现正合心水的电影。
The Kids are Alright.
Two kids conveived by arificial insemination bring their biological dad into their lesbian mother family…
Annette Benning, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo.
Can casting get any more brialliant than that. Bennig, miss her, just when you think she’s becoming older and older, she’s just getting better and better in any aspect. Mark, such a hottie, good combination of male agressiveness and Californian laid-back, this is just the character for him. Moore, sensual as she is in Chloe, unnatural from time to time, yet entirely acceptable, she reminds me of some Japanese actresses somehow.
Writer and director, Lisa Cholodenko: What a pearl in the sandy Hollywood. A true inspiration to me.
The core value of the film that touches me most is that, after seeing so many nonsense these days, there are actually people, who know what they are writing about!
In terms of lines, interacations, and most of all, a logical story, which does take some brain and less self-involving to tell after all!
That’s Lisa Cholodenko’s credit for screenplay!
Her directing is another good point. It’s rare that someone can make them together so "organically".
Bravo, Lisa. Bravo, Focus Features.
Mia and Josh, the "kids", awsome casts. Who is the casting director again? it makes me wonder.
Too bad, can’t get on IMDB at home!

Having said I have to say, I can go out have my lunch now.
